2008 RACE DAY IS OVER. After the rain of Saturday the weather was kind to us and we all had an enjoyable day. In the 10 mile race 725 runners crossed the finish line, and we lost count of the Fun Runners. We are now compiling the results ready for despatch to those who asked for printed copies, and we are also publishing them on this site - just follow the 2008 Results link. Many, many thanks to all our sponsors; our exhibitors and display artists; our timekeepers and professional staff; our Rotary 'ground staff' (and helpers) who worked hard to set out beforehand, and clear up afterwards; and of course to all of you who ran in the events. Without you the event wouldn't happen. |
